Come see the best paddling films of the year from all around the world! 📽🛶🌎

We’re so excited to announce that, in partnership with our friends at The Haw River Ballroom, we will be hosting a screening of select films from the 2025 International Paddling Film Festival on March 29th! These world-class short films highlight the best of the paddling community, showcasing paddlers overcoming incredible challenges and adversity while forging deep bonds with both nature and each other.

But more than just watching great films, we want to take this opportunity to celebrate and share our love of paddling and our local rivers! We’ll be a hosting a “River Social” event before the film screening, where attendees will have a chance to learn from organizations involved in the creation of the Haw River State Trail and protecting, maintaining and educating about the river’s natural & cultural history. There will also be organizations offering paddling opportunities, teaching about river safety and rescue, and providing new and used paddling equipment and gear for sale.

Doors open for the River Social at 5:30pm and screening begins at 7:00pm. There will be food and beverages available for purchase on-site.
