With 38 years of service, 10 State Tournament appearances, and a strong commitment to the game, Mark has made a lasting impact as a leader and mentor in the officiating community.

Mark was honored with the 2023-2024 NFHS Active Officials Award for Boys Basketball, presented by WVSSAC Executive Director David Price, Associate Executive Director Wayne Ryan, and State Clinician David Bowles.

COVID has now claimed 2 people I know personally (people who are more than just acquaintances). Advice on how to protect ourselves and our loved ones changes. As more real life situations occur, we need to educate ourselves and realize experts in infectious diseases are learning with each new case, too.
God speed the souls of my aunt's family member, Fred (Jan2021), and now Betsy.
