We've been having an amazing time at Summer Enrichment! From hands-on projects and creative activities to new friendships and lots of smiles, our campers have had a fantastic first few weeks.

Summer is almost here, and the Grafton Public School's Summer Enrichment Program begins on Monday, July 6! We are excited to offer another summer filled with engaging, hands-on learning experiences for students entering Kindergarten through Grade 12.

From STEM and science camps to arts, cooking, sports, music, literacy, and more, there truly is something for every student. Programs run Monday through Thursday at Grafton High School, with both morning and afternoon sessions available.

There is still time to register, but many classes are filling quickly! Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, and several programs have already reached capacity.

Important Reminder: Registration for each week closes one week before the start of that session, so don't wait to secure your child's spot.

Whether your child wants to build, create, explore, experiment, cook, perform, or discover something new, our Summer Enrichment Program offers exciting opportunities to learn and have fun all summer long.

☀️ Looking for an activity this summer?

The learning and fun continue in the afternoon! With a variety of programs focused on creativity, discovery, movement, and hands-on experiences, there's something for every student to enjoy this summer. Take a look at the classes below and see what exciting opportunities are still available for session 1!

📚 Book Making
Calling all young authors and illustrators! Students will create a new handmade book each day while exploring different book styles and filling the pages with their own creative stories and artwork.

🏅 All Star Sports Academy
A little sports, a little art, and a lot of fun! Campers will play games like soccer, basketball, baseball, and football while creating sports-themed crafts and keepsakes to take home.

🦎 Creature Powers and Camouflage
Discover the incredible ways animals blend in, stand out, and survive in the wild. Through hands-on challenges and investigations, students will become creature scientists and explore the amazing world of animal adaptations.

🧘 Fit, Fuel, & Flow Camp
Get moving, get cooking, and learn healthy habits! Campers will enjoy fitness activities, beginner yoga, and hands-on snack making while building confidence and wellness skills.

🧶 Weaving
Get creative with colorful yarn while learning the art of weaving. Students will make fun projects like bracelets, necklaces, and a woven scarf to take home and enjoy.

🔬 Science Experiment Camp
Perfect for curious minds! Campers will explore science through hands-on experiments, from rockets and circuits to slime and homemade butter, while discovering how science works all around us.

🍞 What Do You Knead?
Mix, knead, and bake your way through a week of delicious fun! Students will learn the secrets of bread making while creating sweet rolls, biscuits, breads, and more.

There are still openings in several of our morning summer enrichment programs! ☀️

Whether your child enjoys building, creating, cooking, music, or hands-on learning, we have a variety of engaging opportunities available. Check out the descriptions below to learn more and register before spots fill up!

🎒 Introduction to Kindergarten
Help your child get ready for kindergarten in a fun and supportive environment. Students will practice daily kindergarten routines, build social and fine motor skills, and participate in games and activities while becoming more comfortable with the school setting.

🍎 Fun Homemade Snacks for Kids
Students in Kindergarten through Grade 2 will learn how to make simple, healthy snacks they can recreate at home. Along the way, they'll practice measuring, counting, and following directions while having fun in the kitchen.

🛠️ Invent & Create: Build-It-Yourself Keepsakes
This hands-on camp combines creativity and learning as students design and build keepsakes using a variety of materials. Daily activities encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking through STEM, literacy, and art connections.

🌉 Engineer It! Bridge Building Bonanza
Students will explore the basics of engineering by designing, building, and testing different types of bridges. Using everyday materials, they'll learn through trial and error while developing creativity and problem-solving skills.

🧱 Build It! The LEGO Challenge
Students will tackle fun LEGO challenges that inspire creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking as they create towers, vehicles, bridges, and imaginative worlds. Every day brings a new opportunity to build something amazing!

🍦 Ice Cream Camp
Students will learn how to make a variety of ice cream treats while exploring different flavors and techniques. The week also includes themed crafts, games, and activities that make learning fun.

🎵 Summer Band
Calling all Grades 5–8! Spend the week making music, learning new pieces, strengthening your skills, and performing with fellow band members. It's a fun and rewarding experience that ends with a special performance for family and friends.

🌟 Instructor Spotlight: Summer Enrichment Program 🌟

We’re excited to introduce Jessica Belton, one of our incredible Summer Enrichment instructors!

With 11 years of experience working in Grafton schools, Mrs. Belton spent 7 years as a para at NGES and the past 4 years as an ELL teacher at North Street School. She brings years of experience coaching youth soccer, gymnastics, and lacrosse!

Mrs. Belton is passionate about helping children stay active, learn healthy habits, spend time outdoors, and explore nature. As a mom of three, she understands how important it is to keep kids engaged, active, and having fun during the summer months. Her goal is to create classes where kids can move, learn, build confidence, and make lasting memories!

This summer, Jessica will be running:

💪 Week 1 & 2: Fit, Fuel, & Flow Camp — a fun mix of fitness, yoga, mindfulness, and healthy snacks for students entering grades 3–5.

🌿 Week 3 & 5: Escape the Wild Camp — an outdoor adventure filled with puzzles, scavenger hunts, nature exploration, and escape room-style challenges!

☀️ Registration for the Grafton Summer Enrichment Program 2026 is now open!

With courses in STEM, culinary arts, athletics, SAT prep, visual arts, Kindergarten readiness, and more, there’s something for every student entering Kindergarten through Grade 12. Classes are taught by school professionals and designed to keep students learning, creating, and having fun all summer long!

📅 Weekly sessions run July 6 – August 6
🕗 Half-day AM & PM options available
🎒 Full-day opportunities offered as well!

Programs start at just $85 per half-day session.
