What a GREAT Back-to-School Bash!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who worked so hard to make the Gracemont Schools Back-to-School Bash such a great success! It takes a lot of people working behind the scenes to make an event like this happen, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

And thank you to our amazing Gracemont community for coming out and supporting our school, our students, and our staff! Today was full of fun, laughter, games, snow cones, hot dogs, and plenty of smiles.

There are far too many people to list individually, but please know that because of you, today was a tremendous success!

We are excited for another great school year and can’t wait to see what this year brings!

2026–2027 School Year – Opening Week Schedule

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

We are excited to begin the 2026–2027 school year! Please take note of the following schedule for our opening week:

Opening Week Schedule

Tuesday, August 11 Professional Development Day – No Students

Wednesday, August 12 -First Day of School

Thursday, August 13 – No students (Professional Development)

Gracemont Public Schools will be closed to students (PD) on Thursday, August 13, 2026, due to scheduled maintenance of the Town of Gracemont water system.

This closure is necessary while the water system maintenance is being completed

Classes will resume Friday, August 14, 2026, following our regular shortened Friday schedule.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as this important maintenance is completed.

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We hope you have enjoyed a safe, relaxing, and memorable summer. As we begin another exciting year at Gracemont Public Schools, we are thrilled to welcome both our returning families and the new students joining us for the first time.

Throughout the summer, our staff has worked hard preparing classrooms, improving programs, and planning meaningful learning experiences to ensure our students have a successful and rewarding school year. We remain committed to providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment where every student can learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

We encourage parents and guardians to stay actively involved by communicating regularly with teachers, attending school events and parent-teacher conferences, and sharing ideas or concerns. Together, we can create the best possible educational experience for every child.

Please join us for our Back-to-School Bash on Monday, August 10, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our staff, visit classrooms, connect with other families, and kick off what promises to be an outstanding year.
