🏈 WHO’S EXCITED FOR PEP RALLY?! 🏈❤️💙

Be sure to stop by the PTO table for your chance to win an awesome Buffalo Bills Basket, including a beautiful Bills wreath! 🎟️🏈

The raffle will continue at each home football game, with the lucky winner being announced at the FINAL HOME GAME!

🎬🍿 WE’RE SENDING NELLIE TO THE MOVIES! 🍿🎬

Our goal is to give Nellie and her family a special night together to see Toy Story 5 on the BIG SCREEN! Joylan Theatre in Springville has graciously offered to help us create a private movie experience for Nellie and her family to enjoy together.

Funds raised will first be used to cover Nellie’s special movie night, and all remaining donations will be given directly to Nellie and her family to help support them during this time. 🧡

Let’s fill those raffle tickets and show Nellie just how much her community is cheering her on!

Hope everyone is having a great summer! We have been working hard behind the scenes and can’t wait for the upcoming school year and all that we have planned!!

To start off a great year, we are teaming up with the Gowanda Football organization and raffling off a basket for Miss Nellie 🧡 at each home game, starting this Friday August 21 at the pep rally. Miss Nellie has her own basket too full of goodies…if anyone would like to make a card or artwork for her, we will put it in the basket for her. Please drop them off 132 Caroline Road by this Thursday August 20th. She needs all the smiles she can get!!

Please come visit the PTO spirit table where will be selling Panther spirit items and a chance to win a Buffalo Bills themed basket to support one of our own!

Time is coming up fast for the end of the school year. The 4th grade crossover picnic occurs each year. This year we hope to have parents volunteer during this event like last year. It was nice to see parents with their child enjoying the picnic together. Most items are donated for the picnic each year.

Students will have either picnic:
June 12th
11:00am - 12:00pm
Grilling start: 10:00 am
Set up: 10:15 am
*PTO will provide the grill*

**PTO Meeting Reminder: Board Voting**

We are meeting on June 3rd from 5-6pm at the GES Cafeteria. Last meeting before the end of the school year. We will be voting in person and going over the June agenda.

Thank you to everyone who attended our first annual Wellness Fair last night! Fun was had by all, and we are hopeful this event will continue to grow bigger and better each year.

A special thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help set up, clean up, and host a table. Your support and dedication helped make this event a success.

Mental health awareness is so important, especially for our children. When kids learn about their emotions, coping skills, and overall well-being, they are better equipped to build healthy relationships, manage stress, develop resilience, and succeed both in and out of the classroom. Creating opportunities to talk openly about feelings helps children understand that it’s okay to ask for help and that they are never alone.

Thank you for helping us create a supportive, caring community where our children can learn, grow, and thrive. We can’t wait to see you at next year’s Wellness Fair! 💙🐾

The winners for the incentive 5 or more baskets sold during our flower sale are: Autumn Kanner, Olivia Smith, and Nick/Abby Reid. They will be receiving a Scholastic gift card to use during our next book fair, scheduled 6/1-6/5.

Thank you for those who participated in our flower fundraiser. We hope you love your flowers just as much as we do! 🌺

Location: Front of Gowanda Elementary School
Time: 3:30-5:00pm
Please come and pick up your flowers as we will not be holding them over the weekend.
