As we complete the second day of school, there has been a lot of excitement in the building and we're starting to get back into a routine. Returning to school is hard and some level of anxiety is expected. We're all in this together! Teachers and administrators are working hard to re-integrate students especially those that were fully remote last year. Be patient! Getting up and ready for school alone is a challenge. It will take time, but we'll get there - together. We keep reminding students to take things one step at a time and one day at a time. It's so good to see everyone's faces in the building!

What a beautiful day for graduation! We're rehearsing for the big event. Congratulations to all graduates! The ceremony starts at 7 pm at the grandstand. It's a great day to be a wildcat!

We'd like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday weekend! There is no school tomorrow (Thursday, May 27th) or Friday, May 28th, or Monday, May 31st. On Monday, Memorial Day, we honor our military personnel who have died while serving in the United States military. This holiday, originally known as Decoration Day, is always observed on the last Monday of May.

As more colleges are resuming on-campus tours and visits, it's time to have some fun again! As students (seniors, juniors, etc.) visit college campuses, remember to take a picture of yourself (and/or your family) with a sign with the college's name on it and send it to: [email protected] so it can be posted on this page.

6 ft. Scenes/ by: Lindsay Price. The play, directed by Mrs. Emily Bason, will be released on the GCSD page at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 20th.

A collection of scenes in which no two characters get within 6 feet of each other. Use them to explore the physical and emotional distance between people - what causes us to stay apart?

There is no charge or code to view the production.

We've reminded seniors in the Google Classroom about upcoming deadlines such as Gouverneur Kiwanis Club and Gouverneur Foundation.
