In conversation with International President A P Singh, MD25 is in line with becoming the most improved multiple in the WORLD if we can move our member number to +1 for the end of the year. How... There are many ways. I bet most Indiana Lions can better this...

* Ask ten people that seem like they could benefit by being a Lion. (Hint: This may not be the most popular person in town. We build leaders.)
* If you are a Lion and think you don't count? You do. Invite someone. They count too!
* SERVICE is doing an action. Let that action invite others to participate (by being a Lion).
* If you are a PDG, club president, club or district global membership, service, extension or leadership chair then make it your commitment to gain at least one member each year. Your own personal challenge.
* If you chair a committee in your club or district, seek those in the community that has a similar passion as your and invite them.
* DO NOT wait until July 2nd (or any other misguided rule) to add members. We are about SERVICE. SERVICE is continuous!
* I bet our Indiana Lions can think of other ways to invite people that share our passion for SERVICE. What is yours that worked in the last 6 months? Reply here to share it with others.

We had a fun time at our meeting last evening. Our guest speaker was Bryan Golden, the Band Director at Concord H.S. Lion Heather Bohn was the host. He says it’s all about Legacy, he follows some great footsteps in the history of Concord Band Directors. They have a 2 year contract with the Macy Parade, they will perform again this year on Thanksgiving Day!He also had Lion Judy Gable speak about being a band parent & her insight when her kids were in band. Thanks to Bryan for what all you do for Concord H.S..

At the 3.5 Banquet at Concord Junior High, former award winner and Concord graduate Samantha Allen served as the guest speaker for the evening. She shared her journey toward earning a nursing degree and encouraged students to work hard, celebrate their successes, and learn from their failures. The Dunlap Lions, along with parents and students, enjoyed hearing her inspiring message.

It truly takes a village. The Dunlap Lions were proud to sponsor Concord Junior High School’s 3.5 Banquet this past Wednesday. Congratulations to the students whose hard work and dedication earned this recognition, and thank you to the parents and families who supported them along the way.
We are also incredibly grateful to the staff members and administrators who helped make the evening so special. A special thank-you goes to Garrett's Ice Cream, Martin's Super Markets, Volcano Pizza, and Insignia Promotions for their generous contributions in helping make the night complete.
