We had our first annual Pickleball Tournament today at Goshen Soccer Academy! We want to thank the players, sponsors, and our community for making this such a fun event!

The winners of each division are as follows:

60+ (Men’s / Women’s / Mixed) - Dinking Drillers
Men’s Open - Austin and Steve
Women’s Open - Toni and Heidi
Mixed Open - Jenna and Chad

Thanks to the GHS Advanced Manufacturing class, we were able to provide medals to the winners of each division! Winners also received special prizes from our sponsor, PaddleTek.

A huge thank you to our local sponsors, Ancon Construction, Wellington & Weddell, and Saulo Delgado. Thank you to MapleLeaf printing for helping with our marketing, and thank you to our food trucks, La Botana and Heavenly Brewed Coffee. Lastly, we wouldn’t have been able to make this event happen without Goshen Soccer Academy.

We are officially just over a week away from the Goshen Community Schools Foundation’s first-ever Charity Pickleball Tournament!

We are so excited to have you join us on Saturday, April 25, for a great day of play and community support.

Quick Reminders:
• Location: Goshen Soccer Academy (1400 Fairfield Ave, Goshen, IN 46526).
• Schedule: Matches for the 60+ divisions begin at 8:00 AM. All other divisions will start after 9:00 AM.
• Check-in: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your first scheduled match to check in.

• Everyone who attends will be able to play in multiple matches, so there is plenty of fun to go around, and not to mention prizes for the winners!

One of the annual fundraisers for the Goshen Community Schools Foundation (GCSF) is the Major Saver discount card program. Students in Goshen Schools, grades K–6, will be selling digital discount cards to support this initiative.

Proceeds from the Major Saver program help fund GCSF classroom grants, which provide teachers with resources to create innovative learning opportunities for students. A portion of the funds raised is also returned directly to each elementary school and the Goshen Intermediate School PTOs to support building-level initiatives.

GCSF is grateful for the many local businesses that participate by offering discounts on the card. Their partnership helps strengthen our schools and our community in meaningful ways.

The Major Saver sale will run in Goshen March 11–March 26. This program offers our community a great opportunity to support local schools while also supporting local businesses.

On Tuesday, October 28th GCSF hosted our annual Trivia Night. We had our largest attendance since its inception and we hosted our event at a new venue, the Elkhart County Community Center at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds. It was a great evening of fun and fellowship to raise funds to support innovation and creativity in the Goshen Community Schools! Thank you to all of our sponsors and to all those who attended! We will be honoring our sponsors in the coming days!! Looking forward to seeing everyone next year!

On Tuesday night, the Goshen Community Schools Foundation held our annual Trivia Night (Super Spooky this year)! Thank you to all who came out to participate and to those who could not attend but supported the evening. The funds we raise are used to supply grants requested by GCS staff for field trips and other special activities for our students. We will continue to share posts from this night over the next few weeks!
