One letter closer to the Wildcats! 🐾

Each year, Waterford Elementary gathers every student and staff member outside to create a giant letter as they slowly spell out Waterford, and now, their new mascot name together. This year’s letter: “I”.

We had the opportunity to capture the tradition from above — and students and staff made it even more fun by waving at the drone as it flew overhead.

A fun tradition, a great memory, and another exciting step in Waterford’s Wildcat journey.

Cada año, Waterford Elementary reúne a todos los estudiantes y al personal fuera de la escuela para crear una letra gigante mientras deletrean lentamente Waterford, y ahora, juntos, el nombre de su nueva mascota. La letra de este año: "I".

Tuvimos la oportunidad de capturar la tradición desde arriba, y los estudiantes y el personal la hicieron aún más divertida saludando al dron mientras volaba por encima.

Our 1st graders had the sweetest picnic this week! ☀️🍦
They enjoyed delicious treats from Chief’s local ice cream, created a fun craft led by the amazing team from the Goshen Public Library, and made so many happy memories together. ❤️

Nothing better than sunshine, creativity, and smiles to celebrate a great week!
