Due to predicted rain for Friday’s Homecoming parade, Goshen Local Schools will move the parade to Thursday, Oct. 1, stepping off at 6 p.m. (new day and time!) Parade lines up at GHS at 5 p.m.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however we would like to have a great event Thursday rather than a soggy event Friday!

All other Homecoming events will operate as listed below:

👑 Homecoming court will be introduced during halftime of Thursday night men’s varsity soccer game v. Northwest. King and queen will be crowned at approximately 7:30 p.m. (halftime of soccer game)

📣Traveling pep rally will still be held Friday morning, Oct. 2

🏈 Football game: Friday, Oct. 2, 7 p.m. vs. New Richmond

👑 Homecoming court will also be recognized during halftime of the Friday football game, rain or shine.

🚗 Float competition winners announced at Friday’s football game.

💃 Homecoming Dance: Saturday, Oct. 3, 8-11 p.m. at stadium. (Will move indoors to GHS gym in case of rain/wet conditions)

Homecoming court members will be receiving direct communication about attire for Friday night. Community groups who are scheduled to participate in the parade will be receiving direct communications.

Today, our community joins together to observe Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance. We honor and remember the lives lost 25 years ago, and express our deepest gratitude to the first responders and everyday citizens who stepped forward with extraordinary courage.

We encourage our families to pause today, reflect on our nation's strength, and honor the spirit of togetherness that binds us.
