At Emma Miller’s graduation from San Diego State University, the president asked the graduates to stand and thank their parents. All Miller could do was sob. Her parents were not in the crowd.

We’re taking a pause from reporting on our conference to let you know we have a record number of applicants again this year… 25 in all.

Now our challenge is to find enough funding to give large enough scholarships to make a difference in these students’ lives.
