🌟 Help Us Stock the Teachers’ Lounge! 🌟

For the first time in many years, GES has been able to provide our faculty and staff with a dedicated space for collaboration, connection, and professional growth, the Teachers’ Lounge!

Our teachers and staff often work 12-hour days to ensure that every student feels seen, heard, appreciated, and supported academically. We are asking our wonderful parents and community members to help us keep the lounge stocked with refreshments they can enjoy throughout the day.
We are accepting donations of:
• Bottled water
• Sodas and energy drinks
• Coffee and disposable coffee cups
• Individually packaged snacks

If you would like to donate, please email our new secretary, Mrs. Vickie Swanzy, at [email protected] or message me through ParentSquare. Let us know what you would like to contribute, and we will coordinate a convenient drop-off time.

Don’t feel like going to the store? Monetary donations are also welcome! Please indicate that your donation is for the Teachers’ Lounge.

📣 Important Open House Time Update!

GES Open House will be held on Thursday, August 6, from 5:30–7:30 p.m.

Come meet our amazing faculty and staff, visit classrooms, take pictures, connect with our community partners, and purchase a sweet treat from the ice cream truck!

We cannot wait to welcome our students and families back to GES! 💜💛🦅

The Seamless Summer Feeding Program is back, providing FREE breakfast and lunch for all children ages 0–18 from June 1–26, 2026.

📍 Available at: Banks School, GES, GHS, PCES, and PCHS
⏰ Breakfast: 7:30–8:30 AM
⏰ Lunch: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
📅 Monday–Friday

No registration needed. Just come by and enjoy a nutritious meal! Meals must be consumed in the school cafeteria.

Help us spread the word so every child in our community has access to healthy meals this summer! 💚

🚔🦅 Congratulations to Our Very Own Sgt. Tim Brooks!

Goshen Elementary is incredibly proud to celebrate our School Resource Officer, Sgt. Tim Brooks, for being named Pike County Sheriff’s Office Deputy of the Year! 🎉👏

Sgt. Brooks goes above and beyond every single day to keep our students and staff safe while also building meaningful relationships with our Eagles. From greeting students with a smile to supporting our school in countless ways, he is such an important part of the GES family. 💜💛

This recognition is so well deserved, and we are beyond thankful for his dedication, leadership, and service to our school and community.
