Chester Academy Class of 2022 All Night Party

On a beautiful Friday evening at the end of June, eighty-eight young men and women graduated from Chester Academy High School. Without a doubt, all kinds of feelings were being felt by those graduates- excitement, relief, fear, sadness, and a myriad of others. But before those graduates moved on, there was one last hurrah for them.

The next evening, Saturday June 25th, the entire class of Chester Academy Class of 2022 Hambos were invited to attend the “All Night Graduation Party”. All Night Alcohol and Drug-Free Graduation Parties have become a tradition in Chester. While graduation time is filled with excitement and festivities, statistics also unfortunately show it can be a time of accidents. In an effort to reduce those statistics, Chester parents annually host safe and supervised all night alcohol and drug-free celebrations.

From 10:30 pm to 5:00 am, Chester Graduates had a ball at Urban Air in Middletown, NY! Students enjoyed one last party together as they rode go-karts and sky-riders, jumped on trampolines, and played amazing virtual reality games. In addition, there was a henna artist, a tarot card reader, a DJ and a hypnotist. Students also had the opportunity to win amazing prizes. It was an incredible night!

In order for this event to take place, a group of parents fundraised for almost a year. As fundraising efforts began, the All Night Party Committee soon realized the full generosity and support that surrounded them. Families, friends, neighbors, school personnel and administration, local businesses, organizations, agencies, and the greater Chester, Greenwood Lake and Washingtonville communities came out in droves to support the Chester Academy Class of 2022. Although a small town, Chester is a community where people came out and widely opened their hearts and their wallets, volunteered their time and supported our fundraising efforts. Our small little town is big in so many ways!

The Chester Academy All Night Graduation Party Committee wants to thank everyone for their support and generosity. Because of you, the Chester Class of 2022 were able to enjoy a fun-filled and safe All Night Party. We deeply appreciate all of you!

It was standing room only in the cafeteria at Chester Academy last night…..packed with family, friends, neighbors, supporters and tricky-trayers who came out to support the Chester Academy Class of 2022. No one could have anticipated the HUGE turnout we had last night.

This Herculean task was an enormous undertaking led by a group of very dedicated parents. The work involved in a task like this is overwhelming and ultra time consuming ……but the team of people who donated, wrapped, stuffed, cut, glued, sold, etc executed a successful and FUN night of amazing baskets, gift cards, adult beverages, and a 50/50 where the winner walked away with $406!

This Tricky Tray is the last of many successful fundraisers. The Senior Class of 2022 will have a fun, supervised, and safe graduation party thanks to the incredible support of our community, friends, family, neighbors, businesses and more!

I could live anywhere in the world, and I chose this town. This is a community where people come out and widely open their wallets, volunteer their time, and do the legwork to support worthy causes. Our small little town is SO BIG in so many ways. 💙🧡

THANK YOU just doesn’t seem sufficient….to the volunteers, parents, families, friends, students, businesses, supporters, school administrators & staff, neighbors, flockers, and so MANY more!
