We are excited to kick off our Read-A-Thon beginning today
February 4th through February 13th!

🎯 Our Goal (10 Days):
• Each student reads 150 minutes
• Each student raises $40
If we meet this goal, our Panthers will read over 800 HOURS together! 🐆💙

🏆 Prizes & Recognition:
• Top reader in each grade level
• Top earner in each grade level
• Top class overall

Parkside Elementary PTO is looking for businesses and organizations who would be interested in sponsoring our initiatives. We are currently in our 97th year on south 7th street and love being a neighborhood school!

Parkside PTO’s 2025 initiatives include: increasing our annual field trip budget so our students can experience even more of our world (this year students will visit Kercher's Orchard, Shedd Aquarium, Camp Friedenswald, and more!); sponsoring family nights (we have already had over 300 students and family members gather for our Ice Cream Social and Movie Nights this year); providing our school with new equipment; and treating our teachers and staff with monthly snacks, birthday treats, and more!
