🌿✨ Growing in Faith: Jesus, Creation & the Word of God ✨🌿

Our kindergarteners are discovering that learning about Jesus begins with wonder, gratitude, and love for His creation! 💙

As we explore the beautiful story of Creation, our students are learning that everything God made is good—and that each of us is created with love and purpose. 🌎🌱☀️🐦

We are also beginning to experience Lectio Divina, a beautiful Catholic tradition of prayerfully listening to the Word of God. 📖🙏

Through simple, age-appropriate steps, our little learners are learning to:
👂 Listen to God’s Word
💭 Think about what God is saying
❤️ Talk to Jesus through prayer
🌿 Rest quietly in God’s presence

What a beautiful gift it is to watch our youngest students slow down, listen, wonder, and recognize that Jesus speaks to their hearts.

Dear St. John’s Families,

We want to reassure you that all of our students are safe. We have followed our established tornado safety protocols and are currently safely sheltered downstairs in the basement. Father Brian is with us, helping keep the students calm and engaged with trivia questions while we wait for the all-clear.

Thank you for your prayers, patience, and trust in us as we care for your children. ❤️🙏

We enjoyed a wonderful opportunity to build community and strengthen our bond as a staff family. Over lunch together, we shared stories, laughter, and a fun question to ponder from our principal: “If you were a fruit, what would you be and why?” It was a beautiful time of learning more about each other, celebrating our uniqueness, and beginning the school year with joy, connection, and fellowship. 🍎🍊✨
