Gorman ISD School Dismissal Update:

Let's start the new school year safely. Please review the updated School Dismissal Traffic Pattern carefully.

Middle School Pick-up:
🚗 Use Lexington St. from the playground gate. Cars enter from Fisher St. and exit towards downtown.

Elementary & High School Pick-up:
🚗 Pick-up will be on Second St. The pick-up line should form on Lexington St. next to the High School and exit on State St.

🚫 CRITICAL FIRE LANE: The lane on Second St. closest to the High School MUST remain completely open. Please form your line only in the lane closest to the MS/Elementary School.

⏰ PUBLIC ROADWAY & PICK-UP TIMES:
Second Street and Lexington Street are public roadways, please be respectful of local traffic. To prevent congestion, pick-up lines should NOT form prior to 3:30 PM.

Dual credit students
If you need to pick up a chromebook and sign the AUP before the first day of school-we have those ready for you at the high school. Parents and students will need to sign the policies. Students may need to pay the deposit if the charger was not returned last year. We look forward to seeing you!

This will be Mrs.Richter's 30th year as an educator. She attended college at University of North Texas in Denton, TX.

"I am very excited to be in Gorman teaching 1st grade! I am originally from the Denton, Texas area. I have a wonderful family. My husband Russell and I have been married for 31 years. We have two adult children Amy and Ethan. I love animals, especially dogs. I am very happy to join the Gorman Team. Go Panthers!"

This will be Ms. Lane's 5th year as an educator. She attended Tarleton State University.

"I’m excited to join the Gorman ISD family. Agriculture and FFA have been a huge part of my life. I have had the opportunity to raise and show every livestock species. I have assisted in several ag mechanics projects over the years. I also enjoy putting my creativity to work by making and selling mums and doing florals for special events. I have had the privilege of leading and advising 3 different district officers and I have 13 students who have received their Lonestar Degrees. I’m looking forward to bringing my experiences, passion, and love to Gorman ISD."

📢 Important Campus Update for Gorman Middle & High School Families!

To help keep our schools safe, only clear plastic bottles containing water will be allowed at middle and high school campuses this school year.

This update is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, secure learning environment for all students and staff.
