This coming Saturday, Sept. 12th from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, there will be a service event with local eye care professionals and volunteers providing free eye care services to all school age students (ages 5-18) in Coos County. Free eye exams, including a prescription for eyeglasses and a free pair of eyeglasses as needed, will be provided to any students in Coos County who are in need of eye care services. Local optometrist Dr Boyd Gubler and opticians Lauren Shumbo and Maria Shevlin, along with local volunteers, will provide the eye exams and eyeglasses. Optometrist Dr. Lennie Shaw is donating additional eyeglass frames. The service event will be held at a local community meetinghouse in Randolph located at:
