University of Southern Maine: Golden Key

This is the University of Southern Maine chapter of Golden Key! We are an honors based group with an Internal Revenue Code.

Golden Key is the largest collegiate honor society in the world. Membership into the Society is by invitation only, to the top 15% of college/university sophomores, juniors, seniors and top-performing graduate students in all fields of study, based solely on the objective criteria of their academic achievements. Golden Key has over 400 chapters at universities and colleges in Australia, Canada, In

dia, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa, The Bahamas and the United States of America. Golden Key is a nonprofit organization under Section 501C(3) of the U.S. The Society offers members valuable opportunities for individual growth through leadership, career development, networking and community service. In addition, $1,000,000 in awards and scholarships is available to members annually. Members also have access to graduate school and study abroad search engines, as well as other unique product discounts.

Hello everyone! Just a friendly reminder that USM's Husky Day of Service is happening his upcoming Friday, April 15th. Please come do service for a couple hours that day, with the option of 15+ locations! You can pre-register at usm.maine.edu/HuskyDOS. Hope to see you there!

Every spring, USM students, staff and faculty participate in Husky Day of Service by engaging in community service projects with local organizations for the day. Only 10 days away from Regionals! Supplies are being collected for a local Boys and Girls club in Jersey City. Items needed are as follows:
* 3 and 5 subject notebooks
* Blue/black pens
* Pencils
* Loose leaf Paper
* Markers
* Crayons
Anyone who is interested in donating, please contact one of the officers and they can distribute the goods to those attending Regionals!

Hello everyone! There will be a Golden Key meeting tonight at 7pm in Payson Smith on the Portland campus. There will also be a meeting on the Gorham campus this Friday, November 20, at 9.30am in Bailey 223D. This meeting will be a polycom with LAC 106 for our LAC members. Hope to see everyone there!
