It was one of the few places to work in Gore, VA. ("Gore Store", "The Cove", "Moutainview Motel", US Post Office, Local Bank.) It was closed in 1988 when the county consolidated Gore Elementary and Gainesboro Elementary into one school. The new school was called "Indian Hollow" and was located in Hayfield, VA. The school was auctioned off and now acts a home for autisitic and special needs childre
