Today, our Greenhands took on Greenhand Camp! 💙💛 They had the opportunity to participate in leadership activities, work with new people, and step outside of their comfort zones.
Our students learned some great lessons throughout the day, including:
Building the Tallest Tower — learning the importance of leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Blindfold Color Challenge — trusting your partner, listening to directions, and learning how important it is to have someone who can lead you when you can’t see the path yourself.
Meeting New People — using conversation cards to introduce themselves, talk to people they didn’t know, and step outside of their comfort zones.
We are so proud of our Greenhands for getting involved, trying new things, and learning what it means to be a leader! Today was a great reminder that sometimes the best growth happens when we step outside of what feels comfortable.
