🩵🤎 Our classrooms were ready, our teachers were excited, and tonight our halls were filled with smiles, laughter, and so many new faces! Thank you to all of our Sand Shark families who joined us for Meet the Teacher. It was wonderful to see students exploring their new classrooms, meeting their teachers, and beginning to build the connections that make our school community so special.

Today our Loretta Zumbro staff spent time learning about Collective Teacher Efficacy—the belief that when teachers work together, every student benefits. Research by education expert John Hattie shows this has an effect size of 1.57, making it one of the most powerful influences on student achievement. Simply put, when teachers collaborate, share ideas, and support one another, students learn more and reach higher levels of success.
