🍂 7th & 8th Grade Dance is THURSDAY! 🍂

We’re kicking off the school year with cozy fall + country vibes 🤎 Think hay bales, autumn touches, music, friends, and a fun night just for our Junior High students!

⏰ 5:00–7:00 PM
👟 Casual attire — must meet dress code
🎟️ $5 CASH entry at the door
📸 $1 CASH Autumn Photo Booth — grab your friends and get a pic!
🍕 Concessions available for purchase — CASH ONLY

🚨 BIG REMINDER: BRING CASH! Entry, photo booth, and concessions will all require cash.

And don’t forget — every student must have a signed permission slip for entry.

⚾ WESTAR + D-BACKS = A WIN-WIN! ⚾

Want a fun family night at Chase Field AND a way to give back to Westar at the same time? This one is easy!

D-backs vs. Rangers game on Friday, September 11th at 6:40pm, and tickets start at just $15! And being 9/11 they will be honoring the date with FIREWORKS 🎆 right after the game!!!

Here’s the best part: a portion of EVERY ticket purchased through Westar’s fundraising link comes right back to our school! 💙💛

WHAT. A. LUAU!!! 🌺🌴

Thank you to every single family who came out tonight! You stayed and partied with us through the rain, bought raffle tickets, jumped into the contests, played games, danced with us, grabbed some amazing food and lemonade, made crafts, and helped make our Back to School Luau such a FUN night for Westar! 💙💛

We want YOUR photos AND videos! 📸🎥 We know there were phones out everywhere, and we would love to see the night through your camera roll too!

We have to give a HUGE shoutout to our incredible PTO parents who jumped in wherever they were needed and helped make this whole night happen. From setting up, running stations, helping families, keeping things moving, and everything in between - you guys ROCKED it!

We also had some AMAZING 8th graders step up and help tonight, and we are so thankful for them and to Mrs Benites for organizing their help. 💙

And then… Arizona decided to join the luau. 😂🌧️ When the rain started coming DOWN, so many people immediately jumped in to help us grab tables, supplies, decorations, raffle items, crafts, equipment, and everything else we could carry and get it inside as quickly as possible. THAT is community, and we seriously cannot thank you enough!!!!!!

Our first big PTO event of the year will be one to remember. 🌺

Come hungry, come ready to play, and bring the whole family! We’ve got contests, crafts, lawn games, dancing, raffles, food, lemonade, Get Aloha’d by the PTO, and SO much fun packed into two hours!

These kiddos understood the assignment. 😂 Now the only question is… we’ll see YOU tonight, right?! 🌺🤙

We are SO excited for our Back to School Luau TODAY at 5pm 🌺, and we have to take a minute to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the amazing businesses and community partners who donated to our Westar PTO raffle!

And you guys... these raffle prizes are GOOD! 🎟️ We have over $1,000 in donated prizes, including spa and wellness experiences, restaurant and shopping gift cards, golf packages, reserved parking at Westar, and something you cannot just go out and buy - reserved FRONT ROW seats for some of Westar's events!
