Great schools start with great educators!

Supporting the teachers, nurses, counselors, and staff who support our students every single day is essential to keeping our school community strong. Existing M&O override funds directly help our district attract and retain top-tier staff while maintaining reasonable class sizes, all with no tax rate increase.

Here are key election dates to keep in mind this fall:

🦂🤝 Senior to Senior is Back! 🤝🦂

Last week, our Desert Edge Scorpions kicked off another year of the Senior to Senior Program, bringing together our high school seniors and senior citizens from the community for a special first meeting.

Our guests had the opportunity to tour the Desert Edge campus alongside their student partners and join in the excitement of the CW7 Rally, broadcast live from the DE gym! It was a great way to begin building the friendships and connections that make this program so meaningful. 🧡🖤

Through mutual mentorship and intergenerational connection, our students share their talents and experiences while community seniors offer valuable career and life wisdom. Since launching across the Agua Fria High School District in 2022, Senior to Senior has become a special tradition that allows generations to learn from one another, connect, and grow together.

Will Proposition 438 increase your tax rate? NO. Prop 438 is a continuation of our existing Maintenance & Operations (M&O) override and maintains the current tax rate that has been in place for over 20 years, it is not a new tax.
