Impact Golf Lab

Impact Golf Lab I'm Zachary Sardina, founder of Impact Golf Lab. I help golfers find clarity, build consistency, and grow on and off the course.

My mission is to create a heart-led, growth-minded community that inspires lasting transformation through the game. Founder & Independent Golf Coach | Impact Golf Lab

Hi, I’m Zachary Sardina — a dedicated golf coach and the founder of Impact Golf Lab, where I help golfers cut through the noise, eliminate confusion, and find true clarity in their game. My coaching philosophy is rooted in more than just mechanics or swing fixes. I believe golf is a powerful mirror — it reveals our mindset, habits, and approach to challenges. That’s why I work with each athlete not just as a golfer, but as a whole person. Whether you're chasing scratch or just trying to break 90, my goal is to guide you toward becoming the best version of yourself — both on and off the course. At Impact Golf Lab, I’ve built a community centered around growth, authenticity, and consistency. This isn’t about quick tips or surface-level fixes — it’s about long-term development, accountability, and showing up with heart every time you tee it up. If you’re ready to play with more purpose, train with more clarity, and surround yourself with a like-minded community of high-performers, let’s connect. I’d be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.

HEELS SQUARE. FACE OPEN.

Most golfers open the face and the stance together — but that forces you to take the club back inside and scoop. Keep the heels square or close to the target and the open face creates a pull that delivers a downward strike and pops the ball up. This setup combination is what separates great pitchers from everyone else around the greens. Want to fix your pitching?

OPEN FACE. CLOSE THROUGH IMPACT.

Most golfers come in too square and then try to add loft mid swing — that's what causes the lean back and the excess tilt. Great pitchers open the face at setup and close it through impact so the shaft keeps going down and pops the ball up. The loft is already built in — stop trying to add it on the way through. GOLF IS HARD. ALONE.
Are you new to golf? Maybe you've been playing a few months, maybe even six. You've gone to the driving range. You've gone to Topgolf. You've had fun and you love spending time with friends — but you're just not hitting it solidly. You're not alone. Golf is one of the hardest sports to learn by yourself. You can't see yourself, there's a ton of information out there, and there's a lot to filter. That's where I come in. I can be your coach to cut through all of it — prioritize what actually applies to your game and make sure what you're working on is the right thing. Click below and let's get started.

CLUB HAS LOFT. TRUST IT.

Most golfers subconsciously swing like they're holding a ping pong paddle with no loft. So they lean back to help the ball up. But the loft is already built in — even when you lean the shaft forward the ball still goes up. Stop helping the ball and start trusting the club. Want to fix your pitching?

NATURAL INSTINCT. WRONG FOR GOLF.

In every other sport you watch where you want the ball to go. But in golf your back is to the target at the top — so turning to watch the ball makes you lean back, chunk it, blade it and everything in between. This is one of the most natural instincts in golf — and one of the most damaging to your pitch shots. Want to fix your pitching?

DRIVER DRILL

Tee up a driver and make slow waist high to waist high practice swings. Feel how much your chest is rotating — or in this case not rotating — and how much your forearms are rotating through to square the face. This is the final progression of the midline drill — and the one that translates everything directly to hitting the driver. Want to feel this in your own swing?

MORE SWAY GAP. SHOULDERS STAY CLOSED.

The more your chest stays behind the more sway gap you create. And the more sway gap you have the better chance you have of keeping your shoulders closed so the forearms can rotate through freely. Sway gap and shoulder closure work together — increase one and the other follows naturally. Want to know your sway gap?

CHEST STAYS QUIET

At the top keep the shoulders pointing right and chest closed. Let the arms drop and pass the midline while the chest stays quiet. The forearms do the releasing — not the chest. That's the full swing feel of the midline drill. This is progression three — where everything from the drill translates into an actual golf swing. Want to feel this in your own swing?

CLOSE THE FACE. FOLD THE ARMS.

Grab your club and elevate. Over the right, over the left. Keep the chest stable and let the forearms rotate and the arms fold. That's what closes the face — not the chest. Chest rotation opens it every time. This is progression two of the midline drill — and it's the one that teaches you exactly how the face actually closes. Want to stop leaving the face open?
