Our preschoolers have been busy practicing beginning sounds and letter recognition by matching picture magnets to the first letter of each word. Through teamwork, problem-solving, and hands-on learning, they worked together to match them all correctly while building important early literacy skills!

🍍 Pineapple Exploration Day! 🍍

Today, Mrs. Gabriel invited our Pre-K friends to explore a pineapple using all five senses! The children observed, touched, smelled, listened, and shared their thoughts as they described this tropical fruit and expanded their vocabulary through hands-on sensory learning.

After our exploration, Chef Mrs. Claytor helped cut up the pineapple so everyone could enjoy it during snack time. The children were excited to taste it and talk about its sweet, juicy flavor!

Experiences like these encourage curiosity, build language skills, and help children gain confidence as they explore new things. We loved seeing so many smiling faces and hearing all of the wonderful descriptions our little learners shared today! 💛🍍✨

Our Early Art Masters recently explored textures while learning all about farm animals with Mrs. Olson! The children matched colors and textures to different animals, then created their own textured animal drawings using a variety of art materials. From fluffy sheep to spotted cows, our little learners had so much fun expressing their creativity while building important developmental skills. 🌾🖍️

Through activities like these, children are developing:

✨ Fine motor development through drawing and scribbling

Og’s Bountiful Book Drive continues to inspire young readers and big hearts. 📚💛​

Each year, Primrose students practice giving without expectation through meaningful service‑learning experiences that help them see the positive impact they can make in the world.​

This year, Primrose families, teachers, staff and Franchise Owners nationwide donated over 109,000 books to children in need — that’s 14,000 more books than last year! 🎉​

We’re so proud of the generosity within our Primrose community and the joy of storytelling these books will spark for so many children. 📖✨​

Across the country, Primrose schools honored Black history and bright futures through hands-on activities, inspiring classroom experiences, powerful stories, music, art and some very special guests. ❤️📚✨

In classrooms, students explored influential Black leaders, artists, scientists and changemakers in ways that helped them see themselves and each other reflected in the stories being shared.

From read-alouds and student-created museums to rotating workshops and creativity-sparking activities, each experience supported confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belongingness. 🫶 Here are a few highlights from the celebrations.

As part of Black History Month, Primrose students learn about important historical figures — from artists 🎨and performers 🩰 to scientists 🔬 and inventors ✨!
