Field Day 2026 was so much more than just a splash of fun! 💦🎉

Congratulations to our amazing first graders as they blast off into second grade!
As one of their grand finale science experiments, they got to witness eruptions and explosions of knowledge—literally. From the roaring power of a volcano to the sky‑high burst of a geyser, these young scientists dove in with curiosity, courage, and plenty of giggles.

Watch them explore, discover, and grow into the brilliant second graders they’re about to become. The adventure is just getting started.

Stone Soup — how many of you remember the joy of discovering how a simple idea, shared by many, can turn into something extraordinary?
Mrs. Rogers’ second graders wrapped up their school year with their very own Stone Soup celebration! With just a few simple ingredients and a whole lot of teamwork, these young chefs created a masterpiece that was as meaningful as it was delicious.

Before they head off to their next adventure, our young scholars gathered together to taste the soup they made as a community — a perfect reminder that when everyone contributes, something wonderful always comes to life.

Mr. Szo’s 5th‑grade scholars took on that challenge by selecting a state to research and present for their latest project. Each student showcased fun facts, history, landmarks, and unique features from their chosen state — and the results were incredible.

🌸 MOM — What does that word mean to YOU? 🌸

On May 8th, 2026, our incredible Kinder Team — Mrs. Bieda, Ms. Walker, and Mrs. Poe — hosted a beautiful Mother’s Day Celebration for all our kindergarten moms. From crafts and games to snacks and juice, it was a joyful morning filled with laughter, love, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Here at The Odyssey Preparatory Academy – Goodyear, we have so much to celebrate both inside and outside our classrooms. From creating vibrant piñatas for Cinco de Mayo to honoring Mother’s Day with heartfelt, creative projects, our scholars have been busy learning, creating, and shining.

As we celebrate National Charter School Week, we’re excited to highlight one of our amazing Math Teachers, Mrs. Solky. She has been part of our Odyssey family for four years and loves teaching 3rd grade.
