💙🦈🦈Day 2 of shark week!! We are having so much fun I think our shark week will be carried over to next week. Today we learned more shark facts, worked on our shark crafts, ate a yummy shark filled lunch, wiggled & giggled (of course) and we read some shark books. Our favorite was “There’s a Shark in the Loo.” So parents be prepared when you take your little ones home they won’t have to go potty they will run to the Loo!!!! 🤣One little friend fell asleep at story time. Silas said “ Look miss Lori Maverick is nocturnal!” Another friend falls to the floor and acts like he is asleep & said “Look! Miss Lori I’m an ott turtle too.” 🐢💙🦈🦈

Today we are kicking off shark week!! We have watched a show about sharks. Learned fun shark facts. Painted a shark. Watched Danny Go “sharks in the water.” And we may have eaten a shark infested ocean. ( and yeah now your child’s tongues & lips might be blue. But they loved it. 🤣) But we are having lots of sharky (yeah I made that word up.) fun & it’s only Monday. If your child wasn’t with us today…..no worries! We will be having sharky fun all week! 🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈

🦈🦈🦈🫪🫪Attention Learning Llama childcare parents!!!🦈🦈🦈🫪🫪
I need to warn you!!! 🦈Monday begins SHARK WEEK! 🦈We will be having fun doing shark activities, (hopefully I can find some gummy sharks), doing shark crafts, learning all about sharks, having shark for lunch. ( well fish sticks)🦈 If your child has a shark shirt have them wear it. 🦈But the real reason I need to warn you? We might be singing the……🎶🎶Baby Shark🎶🎶 song a lot!! Yea sorry about that. 🤣It’s going to be a great week!!!
💙And I need to from the bottom of my heart tell you all how much I appreciate each and every one of you for your kindness, prayers & allowing me the privilege of caring for your children. This summer has been a season of change. But what hasn’t changed is my dedication to the calling of providing faith based, safe, reliable, nurturing, quality childcare to the children I have been blessed with.💙

Last week the Learning Llama childcare crew: Made peppa pigs, pattern chains, danced to the (new to us) Mickey Mouse club house song, listened to the different sounds/songs birds make, played outside & we finally got to eat our mud puddle snack. See everyone tomorrow!!

Hey Learning Llama Childcare families. One of my little friends had a tick on him when he got home this evening. We weren’t off the playground today, but the aggressive little bo**er must have been in the wood chips. So everyone please check your little ones!!!!

Have I mentioned how much we love rolly pollies? The llama crew loves them & are so gentle with them. And they must return them “to the wild” before we go back inside. Bye sparkle headed rainbow flower! See you tomorrow.🥰
