Gooding Schools PTA PTA meetings will be the second Tuesday of every month at 3:40pm in the GEMS Library startiing September 6th, 2016! Can't wait to see you all!

For more than 100 years, the PTA has provided support, information, and resources to families focused on the health and education of children. The organization was founded in 1897 in Washington DC by Alice McLellan Birney and Phoebe Apperson Hearst. Their determination created an organization that has been woven into the fabric of American life. The PTA serves as a type of forum where parents, tea

chers, and the community can discuss ways to promote education and encourage involvement in school. Membership is open to anyone who believes in making every child’s potential a reality. Here in Gooding, the PTA has raised funds for field trips for students, supplies for classrooms, and supplies for the school nurse and social services. The PTA has also held and sponsored many fun events at the school with little or no cost to families. We promote reading with our Star Store, and positive behavior with our monthly awards. Gooding PTA meets at 6pm every third Thursday of the month at the GMS library. Comment Policy:
