🔥 On this 'PASS THE TORCH TUESDAY', A. Wiltz congratulates our 8th Grade Science Team, Mrs. Arianne Williams and Mr. Clayton Reynaud, as our newest Pass the Torch recipients! 🐾🔥

Pass the Torch is about recognizing those who lead by example, inspire others, and help make those around them better.
Mrs. Williams and Mr. Reynaud are doing just that.
Through their collaboration, shared ideas, and commitment to meeting the diverse needs of their students, they are demonstrating that leadership is not about a title—it’s about influence, initiative, and impact.

As a new teacher, Mr. Reynaud has embraced the Bulldog community and stepped into his role with a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute. Mrs. Williams has led with support and encouragement, helping to build a strong partnership that allows them both to grow as educators and leaders.

Together, they are also taking what they are learning from Cluster and intentionally putting it into practice to strengthen instruction and improve outcomes for our Bulldogs.

Our 7th Grade Bulldogs are putting their science knowledge into action! 🌡️Students have been learning about the transfer of thermal energy and were challenged to design, build, and test an insulated cup that would minimize the transfer of thermal energy. This is learning by doing—where science, problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking come together! 🧪🌡️🐾

Congratulations to our Pass the Torch recipient, 7th-grader, Avery Wiltz! 🐾💚💛

Ms. Bourge, Avery's science teacher, nominated and shared that Avery earned an outstanding 100% on the first Science District Common Assessment! 🧪🔬💯 She takes her academic success seriously by asking thoughtful questions, actively participating in class, and always striving to do her best. 📚✨

Avery also demonstrates true leadership by working collaboratively with her group and helping her tablemates move their learning forward through meaningful discussions and activities. 🤝🌟

The wait is OVER! 🙌🏽 On Tuesday, September 1st, our GoMS Lady Bulldogs will officially KICK OFF the 2026 Volleyball Season as they take on Lake Middle School! 🐾🏐

Come out and cheer on our Lady Bulldogs as they hit the court and begin what we know will be an AMAZING season filled with hard work, teamwork, determination, and Bulldog PRIDE! 💪🏽🔥

🌋 SCIENCE IN ACTION AT GoMS! 🧪

Today, our STEM students got to explore chemical reactions through a fun and exciting volcano experiment! 🌋

Students first built their own volcanoes using play dough, test tubes, popsicle sticks, and aluminum trays. Then came the exciting part....they combined baking soda and vinegar and watched their volcanoes erupt! 💥

It was a hands-on way to observe science in action while learning about chemical reactions. Thanks to our amazing STEM teacher, Ms. Jasmine Brooks for engaging our students in this experience! We love seeing our Bulldogs explore, create, and THINK like scientists! 🧠🔬
