Camp Gobotics / campgobotics.com Eric Prothero, veteran educator, teaches students to design, build, program and compete with robots Recommended ages 6-14. Other ages subject to approval.

Taught by Hollister Elementary School 6th grade teacher Eric Prothero, students at Camp GObotics design, build and program unique robots using LEGO® Mindstorms NXT, EV3 and Spike Prime building kits. Students get to use real-life math skills and computer programming to make their robots perform functions, movements, tasks, run obstacle courses and competition challenges. Sessions include "Robot Su

mo" (head to head competition in the sumo ring), "Battlebots" (individual and team competitions using Bluetooth-controlled robots), "Microland America" (Building a LEGO minifig-sized amusement park), and "Project Engineering" (Student-directed building projects of various types).
