rk Childcare Center. Steps to Learning Montessori Preschool follow a Montessori and play base approach to education based upon careful observation of the children and how they learn and develop. Through direct interaction with the environment child grows emotionally, socially, physically, creatively and intellectually. We follow a balanced curriculum by providing academics, sensory exercises and creative activities. Our extra curricular activities are fitness & healthy habits, creative dance, ballet, music, yoga and Spanish. A child's success in life begins with a good self-image. For the child, self-esteem is nurtured through positive interactions with peers, adults and the environment in which they are a part of. We believe that learning begins at birth and continues with everything a child does. Our mission is to offer a program, which builds self-confidence, self-respect, respect the environment and others in an environment that stimulates fun and discovery through learning.

The ideal candidate should be in the process of completing 12 core ECE units or already completed and enjoy working with young children (3-6 yrs). At least one year experience working at a center or student teacher experience is acceptable.

Job Responsibilities: Work with 3-6 yr old and maintain progress of each child in your care following Montessori philosophy. Conduct parent/teacher meetings, use our systems to update parents, are some of the tasks.

All positions require an extensive background clearance, proof of vaccinations for measles, Whooping cough (TDap), flu(annual) and TB test and health evaluation completed upon start date and CPR and first aid, sexual harassment training. We will provide the resources to accomplish these requirements, if necessary.

We are looking for a qualified candidate who can live in our core values (teamwork, respect, accountability, professionalism, diversity and fun) in a diverse workplace. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask, hard worker, reliable and flexible.
