Welcome to Clubh2w!đź’š

I had to build my financial foundation from scratch.

Without a guide. Without a community. Without a single resource that did not make me feel ashamed.

Clubh2w is built from two things —> years as a career CFO and the humbling experience of having to start my own finances completely over.

For every woman who is tired of feeling behind and finally ready to begin.đź’š

The safety net is not about having extra money.

Here is how to build one:

Start with $500 as your first goal —> not three months of expenses, just $500.
Open a High Yield Savings Account and name it SAFETY NET.
Set up an automatic transfer —> even $25 a paycheck moves the number.
Do not touch it for anything that is not a genuine emergency.
Rebuild it immediately when you do use it.

That is the whole system.

One account. One automatic transfer. One number you are building toward.

The safety net does not remove every financial risk.
It removes the panic that makes everything else harder.

Safety Net Account = Automationđź’š

Set up a High Yield Savings Account (HYSA), takes about 10 minutes of time online.

Next, set up an automated transfer of $5 from your paycheck on the 3rd and 18th of every month.

Quietly, simply and easily you will have a Safety Net Account for the curve balls life throws.

No panic.
No distress.

Your Safety Net Account is building slowly for this exact moment. Your future self will thank you for taking this small amount of time and effort to set yourself up!

Comment CASH and I will send some HYSA options for free. đź’š

Most people skip the safety net because they think they cannot afford one.

That is exactly backwards.

You cannot afford not to have one.

Here is what a safety net actually is and how to build one from scratch:

What it is:
A safety net is not a savings account you never touch.
It is a specific amount of money set aside for the specific purpose of keeping one unexpected expense from wrecking everything else.

Car repair. Medical bill. Job loss. The thing you did not see coming.
Without a safety net, one of those things can undo months of financial progress in a single day.

How much you actually need:
Start with $500. Not $10,000. Not three months of expenses. Just $500.

$500 covers most common emergencies.
$500 means the unexpected credit card charge does not happen.
$500 is the first number that changes how financial decisions feel.

One step. One goal. One number at a time.

Where to put it:
Not your checking account —> you will spend it.
Not under the mattress —> it needs to earn something.

Open a separate High Yield Savings Account (HYSA) and name it SAFETY NET.
The name matters. You will think twice before spending something labeled that way.

How to build it:
Pick a number you can move automatically every payday —> $25, $50, $100, whatever the honest answer is.
Set up an automatic transfer.
Do not touch it unless it is a real emergency.
Rebuild it immediately when you do.

That is the whole system.

The safety net is not a luxury for people who have extra money.
It is the foundation that makes every other financial goal possible.

If you are starting over right now, the safety net is the first thing.đź’š

Not the budget. Not the debt payoff. Not the investment account.

The safety net first!

Here is why:
When there is nothing set aside, every financial decision gets made from fear.
Fear based decisions are almost always expensive ones.
The cycle continues not because you are bad with money —> but because there is never a cushion between you and the next unexpected thing.

$500 changes that.

$500 means the car repair does not go on the credit card.
$500 means the unexpected bill does not become an overdraft.
$500 means you have one less thing keeping you up at night.

How to build it starting today:

Open a separate High Yield Savings Account (HYSA)
**Not your regular savings, a new account with one purpose.
Name it SAFETY NET.
Set a first goal of $500 —> just $500.
Move whatever honest amount you can each payday —> $20, $50, $100.
Do not touch it for anything that is not a genuine emergency.

When you hit $500 —> celebrate it.🥳
Then set the next goal: $1,000.
Then one month of essential expenses.
One number at a time.

The safety net is not the end of the journey.
It is the foundation that makes the rest of it possible.

đź’šFollow for every step that comes after this one.

WITHOUT a safety net:
One car repair = credit card debt.
One medical bill = missed rent.
One unexpected expense = months of progress gone.

WITH a safety net:
One car repair = handled.
One medical bill = covered.
One unexpected expense = exactly what the account was for.

The difference between those two realities is not a bigger income.

It is $500 in a separate account with one job: absorb the hit so everything else stays intact.

Here is how to build yours:

Open a High Yield Savings Account (HYSA) today —> separate from checking so you cannot accidentally spend it.
Name it SAFETY NET —> the name creates a psychological barrier that actually works.
Start with $500 as your target —> not three months, just $500 first.
Automate $25–$100 per paycheck —> set it and do not touch it.
Rebuild it immediately after any withdrawal.

You are not building a savings account.
You are building the thing that keeps one bad day from becoming a financial disaster.

If I was starting over —> here is exactly what I would do first.

Not the spreadsheet. Not the perfect budget. Not waiting until I felt ready.

This. In this order.

First —> build a safety net. Even $500 in a separate account changes how every financial decision feels. You stop making choices from panic and start making them from a plan.

Second —> get clear on the next chapter. Not the whole future. Just the next six months. What does stability look like? What is the one financial pressure I need to remove first?

Third —> find ways to create more income. Not forever. Just until the foundation is solid. Side income at the beginning of a reset is not optional...it is the bridge.

The order matters as much as the steps.

Few people talk about this…💚

It’s creating enough breathing room that one unexpected expense doesn’t throw you into panic mode.

That’s what a Safety Net Account is.

Not a vacation fund.
Not investing.
Not a “perfect” emergency fund.

Just one place where your future self can breathe a little easier.

Start by creating one small layer of safety.

đź’šHave you ever had an unexpected expense that completely threw off your finances?

Let’s celebrate a Clubh2w community member who moved her money from a bank savings account to a HYSA (High Yield Savings Account).

She just earned $800 dollars for July, after moving her funds from commenting CASH and following the steps.

I am so proud of her and thrilled she has $800 for July, next she will collect the interest payment for August/September/October/November/December!

The crazy part to this, 6 months @ $800+ will pay for Christmas and build up her Safety Net Account.

Congratulations for taking a few minutes to open an account, transferring the funds and now collecting the interest!

Comment CASH and receive the steps to change your regular bank savings account a HYSA to receive the interest!đź’š
