Enjoyed spoiling our teachers this week with a different "food bar" every day. We had a trail mix bar, popcorn bar, nacho bar, cookie bar, and ice cream bar.
Just a little thank you for all they do to make WAYNE CHRISTIAN CHILDCARE AND PRESCOOL so amazing!!!!!!!!

Our K4 classes enjoyed FLOWERS AND MUFFINS WITH MOM this morning.
They had a delicious muffins breakfast then made beautiful flower bouquets for their Moms to enjoy.
We love and appreciate all of our moms and the hard work they do every day! We hope you enjoy your special weekend ❤️

WCS Families,

We have continued to closely track tomorrow’s weather forecast. While initial reports suggested the primary threat would be in the late afternoon, updated models now show that severe conditions, including high winds and storm activity, will likely impact our immediate area as early as mid-morning.

Because of this shift in timing and the increased risk for our campus, Wayne Christian School and the WCS Childcare and Preschool will be fully closed tomorrow, Monday, March 16.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate these changes together. Our focus remains on the safety of our students and staff, and we appreciate the trust you place in us to make these difficult decisions. We look forward to seeing everyone back on campus soon.

K4 closed out Circus Week with Dana Hill and it was a spectacular finish! So many smiles, laughs, and unforgettable moments!

Our PreK 4 class had such a memorable time celebrating Cowboy Week with a special visit from The Cornealius Properties! We are so grateful to the Freeman family for bringing a special guest that our students were able to pet, feed, and brush, what a joyful, hands-on experience for everyone involved.

A heartfelt thank you as well to Megan Rose Photography for beautifully capturing these precious moments. We love creating meaningful experiences and lasting memories for our students!

Wayne Christian School has carefully evaluated road conditions across the county and on our campus. While many main roads have improved, several secondary roads remain unsafe, particularly in areas where our student drivers and staff travel. Out of an abundance of caution, and with the safety of our students and staff as our top priority, we have made the following decisions for Wednesday, February 4.

Childcare and Preschool
The Childcare and Preschool will operate on a two-hour delay and will close one hour early.
Hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Drop-off cutoff time: 9:00 AM (unchanged)

Because of continued poor road conditions in some areas, staffing will be limited. If you are able to keep your child home tomorrow, we encourage you to do so, as this will help us manage staffing responsibly.

Families whose children do not attend on Wednesday will be automatically billed for a partial-week tuition, rather than the full week. No additional action is required.

Grades K-12
Wayne Christian School Grades K–12 will be closed on Wednesday, February 4.

If we are able to return on Thursday, the Elementary School will celebrate the 100th day of school.

The Booster Club interest meeting is planned for Thursday evening at 6:30 PM, assuming we are back in school. We will confirm if anything changes.

The safety of our students, families, and staff remains one of our highest priorities. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to make careful, safety-focused decisions.

K4 had their 100 days of "SNOW" much learning today.

They participated in several activities, including playing with snow, having a snowball fight, special snacks, and 100 days of school crafts.
