More brilliance from the simple minds of the anti-gun, leftist politicians in CA: Ban this ,ban that, just ban everything. It will solve exactly nothing, but ban it anyway.

Too far fetched? You decide.
A good CCW course involves MUCH more than shooting targets. It is crucial to understand the degrees of homicide defined in the law. As usual, Massad Ayoob lays it out in easy-to-understand language:

Interesting Q & A on Quora:
Q: Is it really possible to shoot a revolver from inside your pocket without it malfunctioning, and how practical is that in real life?
A: Yes, it is possible and can be practical in a crunch. It’s the ultimate surprise for the bad guy! I would strongly suggest, however, that one practices this technique beforehand. It involves “instinctive point shooting” which is a skill that, if not performed correctly, can result in an errant shot.
Unless the cylinder gets snagged on something inside a pocket, there should be nothing to stop its rotation when the trigger is pulled. Obviously (to me, anyway) you would not want anything else in that pocket sharing space with the revolver. Nor would you want anything like a metal zipper or a hard plastic button on the outside of the pocket that could deflect the bullet from its intended path to the target.
My suggestion, if your budget allows, is to buy two identical articles of clothing, one to practice with and one to wear in public.

Are they not "public servants?" Why do lawful gun owners have to fight them in court in order to protect our gun rights?

Suppressors have been demonized by Hollywood as nothing more than assassin's tools. The gullible public ate it up, and idiot lefties and people who know nothing about them regurgitate that falsehood even today. The GOA is trying hard to get the truth out.

Are there Air Marshals on every flight? You can read this article to learn.
https://dailypassport.com/are-air-marshals-every-flight/
Now, pay attention to this passage:
"In the event of an attempted hijacking or other security incident, air marshals are trained to spring into action to protect the plane and its passengers. Air marshals are authorized to carry a gun and make arrests if necessary, and may deploy self-defense techniques or highly skilled fi****ms training to neutralize any threats. "
Note "highly skilled fi****ms training."
The author is not joking. The fi****ms qualification test qualification for Federal Air Marshals makes the FBI's qual look easy in comparison.
FEDERAL AIR MARSHAL QUALIFICATION
This drill uses the QIT targets like the FBI Qualification Drill. You will need three of the QIT targets and 30 rounds of ammunition. You will also need a concealment garment for two of the stages.
Stage 1: From concealment, draw and fire one round. Repeat. Total time is 3.30 seconds with 2 rounds fired.
Stage 2: From low ready, double tap the target. Repeat. Total time is 2.70 Seconds with 4 rounds fired.
Stage 3: From low ready, fire 6 rounds into the target. Total time is 3.00 seconds with 6 rounds fired.
Stage 4: From low ready, fire one shot, reload, fire one shot. Repeat. Total time is 6.50 seconds with 4 rounds fired.
Stage 5: From low ready, fire one round into 2 targets, each three yards apart. Repeat. Total time is 3.30 seconds with 4 rounds fired.
Stage 6: From concealment and facing up range with back to targets, turn 180 degrees and place one shot into each of three targets, three yards apart. Repeat. Total time is 7.00 seconds with 6 rounds fired.
Stage 7: From low ready and standing, fire one round, slide locks back, drop to one knee, reload, fire one round. Repeat. Total time is 8.00 seconds with 4 rounds fired. (Note this is basically the 1 + 1 reload drill just dropping to a knee before reloading)
So if you add all of that up, you need to fire 30 rounds in 33.8 seconds. Total time for each stage cannot be exceeded or you fail that stage. Hits in the bottle are worth 5 points, hits on the line or outside of the bottle are worth 2 points for a maximum total of 150 points.
To qualify, you need a minimum of 135 points and successfully completed all stages.
So how do you stack up? Would you be able to protect the friendly skies?
This is a tough test, even for some of the best and highly-trained fi****ms instructors in the industry; so don’t get frustrated if you can’t shoot it as well as you would like. Practice makes perfect!
