We know that it's way past the deadline to utilize the Opportunity Scholarship for this current school year, but we don't want that to keep a family from exploring their options.

Because of new funding opportunities, our unique 3-day school week, and our partnership with Madison Avenue Baptist Church, Covenant Christian Academy is able to work with families who may not be able to afford typical private-school tuition.

CCA got to attend ACE's Christian Educators Convention this week. A time to refresh and recenter. We're so thankful ACE School of Tomorrow provides these training opportunities to keep us sharp and prepared to serve our students and families.

🎉 BIG NEWS FOR COVENANT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY! 🎉

We are incredibly excited and grateful to announce that Covenant Christian Academy has been awarded a grant from the Herzog Foundation!

This grant is more than just financial support. It is an investment in our students, our families, and the mission God has given us through CCA and MABC.

At CCA, we believe that one educational model does not fit every child or every family. There are families who need something different from a traditional school setting. Maybe their child needs more individualized instruction. Maybe they need a smaller environment. Maybe their family needs the flexibility of a hybrid model. Or maybe they simply want their child's education to include strong Biblical values and spiritual formation.

That's why CCA exists.

This grant will allow us to continue strengthening the things that make CCA unique. We plan to use these funds to:

📚 Strengthen our reading and literacy program with quality curriculum, hands-on resources, and materials designed to help students who need a different approach to learning to read.

🧑‍🏫 Invest in our education leaders through professional development and training so our staff can better serve students in our individualized, multi-age learning environment.

🔬 Expand hands-on STEM and science learning so students can explore, experiment, build, and discover beyond the pages of a workbook.

🎨 Provide additional art, music, and enrichment opportunities that support the whole child and make learning engaging and meaningful.

🏫 Improve our flexible classroom spaces with furniture, storage, and resources that allow us to create learning environments that work for multiple ages and different learning needs.

Every dollar will help us provide students with opportunities to learn, grow, discover, and develop the gifts God has given them.

We are especially thankful to the Herzog Foundation for recognizing the importance of educational choice and for investing in schools that are working to provide families with alternatives to the traditional educational model.

CCA is still young, but we have a big vision. We want to be a place where families who may not fit neatly into the traditional school system can find a quality, Christ-centered educational option that meets them where they are.

We are so thankful for everyone who has prayed for CCA, supported CCA, encouraged us, and believed in what God is doing here.

We can't wait to see what God does with this investment! 🔥

A favorite time of day is right after lunch recess. When we're all hot, sweaty, and out of breath, we come inside, settle in a comfy spot, and read a Bible story for a bit before we do our afternoon activities.
