✨📚 What Do Wednesdays Look Like at CCA? 📚✨

Wondering what your child’s Wednesday will be like as a part-time student? Let’s take a peek inside a full, exciting day at CCA! 👇

🕗 Full School Day Experience
Part-time students join our full-time students from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (with a 45-minute lunch 🍎). It’s a day packed with learning, growth, and fun!

📖 How the ACE Curriculum Works
At CCA, we use the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) program—a mastery-based system where students work independently through workbooks called PACEs.

⭐ Each PACE is 30–50 pages
⭐ Students complete 1 PACE every 3 weeks (or faster!)
⭐ After finishing, they take a test
⭐ Score 80%+ = earn a ⭐ and move forward!

To complete a subject for the year, students finish 12 PACEs per subject.
👉 Part-time students completing two subjects finish a minimum of 24 PACEs per year

📝 Wednesday Workbook Time Includes:
✔ Scoring work completed at home
✔ One-on-one help from teachers
✔ Taking PACE tests
✔ Receiving new PACEs

🎨 But That’s Not All! Wednesdays are full of engaging group activities too:
🎯 Writing class (Language Arts)
🎲 Fun math games
📖 Bible memory & pledges
🏃 PE time
🎨 Creative art projects
🔬 Hands-on science experiments

🧪 End-of-Year Testing
Students also complete end-of-year testing, which can be used to meet North Carolina homeschool testing requirements.

Part-time students are eligible to attend yearly ACE Student Conventions alongside our full-time students—an exciting opportunity to compete, perform, and grow!

✅ OR stay on campus

👉 Parents who choose to stay must attend a **volunteer training session** before school begins.

• Students attend CCA one day per week right alongside all full time students

📌 Student Transfer Forms
If your student is moving to another eligible school, submit a Student Transfer Form after they stop attending their current school. Learn more: https://k12.ncseaa.edu/opportunity-scholarship/current-families/school-transfers/

📌 Prepare for Renewal Season (2026–27)
- Students who used funds in Fall 2025 will receive renewal offers in February via MyPortal.
- Students using funds only in Spring 2026 will see renewal offers 2–3 business days after funds are sent to their school.
- During renewal, families will be asked to disclose income. This determines the award tier using SEAA’s Income Chart. If you choose not to disclose income, your student will automatically be assigned to Award Tier 4, which is the base award amount.
