First Day of School! 📚🔥

Our day was filled with a little bit of everything—first-day jitters, testing, snacks, games, and plenty of fun!

It was so good to see students back in the building, getting settled, reconnecting with friends, meeting new friends, and jumping right into another year of learning.

We are so thankful for the students and families God has entrusted to us, and we are excited to see what He has in store for this school year!

🏡 Homeschooling in Wayne County?

Most homeschool co-ops meet on Tuesdays or Thursdays. They're a wonderful way for children to make friends, participate in group activities, and enjoy the homeschool community.

That's exactly why CCA's Homeschool Drop-Off Day meets on Wednesdays.

You don't have to choose between your favorite homeschool co-op and structured academics. With our Wednesday program, your family can enjoy the best of both worlds.

Each Wednesday, students receive:
📚 One-on-one help in **2 core subjects of your choice**
✏️ Individualized academic support to help keep them on track
👫 Time to build friendships with other students
🎨 Afternoon enrichment activities alongside our classroom students

Meanwhile, you have several uninterrupted hours to:
✔️ Work from home
✔️ Grocery shop
✔️ Catch up around the house
✔️ Spend intentional time with younger or older siblings

How does it work? Students in grades 2–8 enroll as part-time students, attending just one day each week, plus optional field trips and student conventions.

As registered CCA students, families can also apply for the NC Opportunity Scholarship, which can cover the cost of the program.

✅ You keep the flexibility and freedom you love.
✅ There is no extra government oversight of your homeschool.
