Our students dove into enzyme activity during Mrs. Lisa Hemenway’s Exploring Enzymes Lab!🔬

Students put their scientific thinking to work as they made Elephant’s Toothpaste and observed enzymes in action. Through this hands-on investigation, they explored how enzymes work, made observations, and used evidence to better understand enzyme activity. 🧠🧪

Our 8th Grade Earth Science students became interplanetary travel agents as they presented their planetary travel brochures to prospective vacationers—our very own high schoolers!

As they explored the solar system, students practiced communicating like scientists by sharing facts, explaining their findings, and convincing travelers which planet should be their next destination! 🌌🔭

We love seeing our students turn learning into hands-on, out-of-this-world experiences! 🚀💫

Mrs. Hemenway’s sophomores put their detective skills to the test during the Macromolecule Murder Meal Lab! Students worked hands-on to analyze evidence, conduct tests, and identify macromolecules while practicing their scientific investigation skills. 🧬🔬

At WSE, our teachers make learning fun, engaging, and hands-on! From solving mysteries to conducting experiments, our students get to learn by doing—and this lab was the perfect example! 🧪🌹

Science + teamwork + a little mystery = one unforgettable lab!
