I had a great time presenting a leadership workshop about Agricultural Career Opportunities at the NC FFA State Convention last week and getting to see past students, friends, and colleagues at the Career Expo. Billy the Bison showed up in some pictures too! Thanks to CM MEDIA for the pictures taken during the workshop and throughout convention.

Last night two of our WCC Animal Science students were recognized in the annual Student Recognition Ceremony. Quetzaly Vera-Sanchez was recognized as the 2026 Work Based Learning student of the year and Kenzie Ward was recognized as the 2026 Applied Animal Science Technology student of the year. Very proud of both of these students!
