The Chapter 3 homework and test are both due on Wednesday, June 14th by 11 pm. The Chapter 2 grades have slipped, you will need to work hard in Chapter 3 to regain ground and to ensure you understand the material so you can move forward.

I wanted to give you all a heads up regarding the science of accounting. I noticed the grades on the Chapter 2 TMM have dropped a little from Chapter 1. Every point counts, please use the two takes you are given!

These TMM problems may seem "easy" but they are designed specifically so students will read/skim the chapter BEFORE starting the homework. You must comprehend the chapter objectives to be able to pass the test!! More importantly, you must understand each chapter to be able to move to the next chapter successfully! The work in accounting builds upon itself.

Please read the chapter, utilize the study tools, and get help in the lab. I can not stress enough that you need to get help or attempt a different way of tackling each chapter as early as possible if you want the best grade you can get. The FIRST time you don't do as well as you had hoped or you are not understanding the material you need to reassess.

I am very proud of the class as a whole! You all did great on the Chapter 1 assignments. We need to continue this momentum into Chapter 2.

Chapter 2 TMM is due tomorrow (Thursday, June 1st) at 11 pm. You will not get access to the Chapter 2 homework or test unless you complete the Chapter 2 TMM. The homework and test are both due on Wednesday, June 7th at 11 pm. I would not attempt to start and complete both on the date they are due. You need to be working on the homework throughout the week.

If you are not happy with your progress or understanding of the material, please use the additional study tools in both Cengage (Study Tools tab) and Moodle. Don't forget, you also have access to the lab as well.

Your Chapter 8 Homework and Test are due by 11 pm on Friday, March 31st. You need to start working on the homework NOW!!

Please remember we having tutoring available M-Th 8am-1pm (Spruce 133) and M & T 5pm - 7pm (WLC 3rd floor).

The Comprehensive Problem is due Monday, March 20th at 11 pm. At least six of you have not even looked at the problem yet...this worries me.

This problem is worth 10% of your grade and has unlimited attempts. This is your chance to improve your grade!! USE IT!!! You can and should get 100% on this assignment, you have had one whole month to complete it and multiple reminders.

The lab will be open Monday 9 am - 1 pm in Spruce 133. Monday is also the last day to drop 16 week courses with a W.
