🌟 Moments That Matter
Small moments. Big impact.

Ready for a New School Year

We recently welcomed our school social workers for our annual luncheon and a chance to prepare for the year ahead.

After lunch, everyone had the opportunity to fill their boxes with school supplies and resources to take back to their schools, making sure they have what they need when a student needs a little extra help.

We are grateful for the work our school social workers do every day and happy to play a small part in helping them start the year prepared.

Thank you, Wayne County!

Our first Pack It Forward school supply drive has officially come to a close, and we could not be more grateful for the support we received from our community.

From backpacks and notebooks to pencils, crayons, and everything in between, your donations added up in a BIG way. Because so many individuals, businesses, and organizations stepped up to help, local students will head into the new school year with the supplies they need and one less thing for their families to worry about.

A huge thank you to our partners at Partnership For Children of Wayne County/Smart Start for joining us in making Pack It Forward such a success. And to everyone who donated, collected supplies, shared our posts, or helped spread the word, thank you. We truly could not have done it without you.

Your generosity helps move our community forward, one student at a time.

We are already looking forward to what we can accomplish together next year!

Today is the last day for our 2026 Pack it Forward School Supply Drive with the Partnership For Children of Wayne County/Smart Start! Our neighbors & community partners have shown up and generously given so that all students in Wayne County can get back to school with the supplies they need to succeed!

Communities Supporting Schools of Wayne County CSS Kids First Summer Enrichment wrapped up this week! Six weeks of Enrichment focused on an artist each week- complete with art activities, reading, and writing! So much fun- and such amazing kids! We also had a pretty amazing staff!
