If we're honest, most of us manage to get to work on time because we understand the importance of the commitment. So why should worship be any different?
When we consistently arrive late to church, we miss the opening moments of prayer, praise, and preparation that help set our hearts before God. It can also distract others and unintentionally communicate that worship is something we can fit in rather than prioritize.
Being on time isn't about legalism. It's about honor. Honor for God, honor for His house, and honor for the people who came expecting to meet Him.

Let's not just come to church. Let's come ready, present, and on time. 🙏🏽⛪️

Today was the 4th Sunday — normally a Sunday we don’t have service.
But God had other plans for me today.

Apostle Bernice Kenon invited me to worship with her this morning, and I went in with expectation — expecting God to speak, expecting clarity, expecting confirmation. And just like He always does… God showed up again.

Through Apostle Kenon, He delivered exactly what my spirit needed.
Her message — Persevere in Faith — hit every place God has been dealing with me privately.

For some time now, God has been warning, nudging, and reminding me:
“I chose you. Get your house in order.”
Not everyone will understand the shift.
Not everyone will agree with the direction.
Some will resist. Some will doubt. Some will question whether the change is even from God.

But the Lord made something crystal clear to me today:
“You cannot run on someone else’s vision. You must walk in the one I placed in you.”

So this is where I stand — and where I encourage you to stand:
Ignore the naysayers.
Silence the doubt.
Stop explaining yourself to people who didn’t hear what God told you.
And follow what thus says the Lord.

When God chooses you, He equips you.
When God directs you, He covers you.
When God speaks, He expects obedience — not negotiation.

Taking a moment to relax and breathe in this Autumn air before heading to church. We may not have service today, but I still need the Word poured into me. I can’t always be the one pouring out. Even a battery needs recharging — and today, I’m letting God refill me.

Sometimes it feels as if my attempts are in vain.
I give my all, I pour out what God put in me, and yet there are moments when I wonder if any of it is making a difference. But even in those quiet, discouraging moments, I remind myself that God sees what I cannot. He honors what others overlook. My labor is not wasted, my obedience is not ignored, and my effort is not empty. I keep going because He is working, even when I can’t see it.
