Some folks act like pastors are supposed to be flawless — spotless, perfect, never slipping. But let me say this with strength and clarity: I’m human too. I have faults, shortcomings, and places where God is still shaping me.

Don’t ever elevate me to some image of perfection. I’m not a marble statue — I’m flesh and blood just like you. I fight battles, I face struggles, and I lean on God’s grace every single day.

If anything, let my honesty remind you: God uses real people, not perfect ones.

Wisdom for today:

Satan is a skillful master of deception. He’ll work both sides of a conflict just to keep emotions stirred, stress elevated, and confusion spreading. That’s his strategy — keep you reacting so you never stop to discern.

But the Bible tells us to be still and let God fight your battles. Before you put your “two cents” in, pray first. Trust God to handle what you can’t. That’s not weakness — that’s strength, discipline, and faith. Standing still in God is sometimes the loudest victory you’ll ever have.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.” — Psalm 37:23

One step at a time — honor God in the next choice you make.
Small obedience builds strong faith. Stay steady today.

Strength and compassion are not enemies — they are partners in the Kingdom.
Some people think being “nice,” “soft,” or “quiet” is the same as being compassionate. But weakness is not compassion. Avoiding truth is not compassion. Silence is not compassion. According to the Word of God, real compassion stands firm, speaks truth, and protects the soul.

Jesus Himself showed us this. He healed with tenderness, but He confronted sin with authority. He comforted the broken, but He rebuked the proud. He was gentle with the repentant, but He stood strong against deception. That’s because true compassion refuses to let people stay in danger.

The Bible says, “Speak the truth in love.” (Ephesians 4:15)
Truth is love.
Strength is love.
Correction is love.

Weakness avoids conflict, but compassion addresses it.
Weakness stays silent, but compassion speaks up.
Weakness lets people drift, but compassion pulls people back.

Hebrews 12:6 reminds us, “Whom the Lord loves He chastens.”
God’s love is not weak — it is corrective, protective, and firm.
If God’s love includes correction, then our compassion must include courage.

Church, we must stop confusing niceness with Christlikeness.
Niceness without truth is not compassion — it’s compromise.
And compromise kills.

Standing strong on God’s Word is compassion because it guards hearts, protects families, strengthens believers, and keeps people from falling into the traps of the enemy. Strength is not harshness — strength is commitment to truth. Strength is commitment to holiness. Strength is commitment to the spiritual safety of God’s people.

Weakness may soothe feelings, but strength saves souls.
Let’s walk in compassion — the kind that stands firm, speaks truth, and refuses to let anyone God loves slip away.

Satan would love for you to believe that ignorance is bliss. He’ll gladly pull the wool over your eyes, and just like he did with Eve, he’ll twist God’s Word, change its meaning, and use deception to make God’s people stumble and fall. That’s why knowing God’s Word — and knowing what it truly means — is non‑negotiable. When you know the truth, no one can lead you astray.

Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)
And Hosea reminds us, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6)

Ignorance is not bliss — it’s bo***ge.
Truth is not optional — it’s protection.
And the Word of God is not just information — it’s armor.

Stay rooted. Stay informed. Stay guarded in the truth so the enemy has no room to deceive you.
