Pack 11 is a legacy pack to the historic Seymour Johnson AFB Pack 911 and was rechartered at our current location in 2022. We are a family pack, meaning boys AND girls are welcome to join. Luke UMC in Goldsboro. Our chartered organization is the Lions Club of Goldsboro. Please feel free to reach out for additional information and check back frequently for upcoming events. Our Scouts had the amazing opportunity to learn from the experts last night. Wayne County EMS graciously hosted our Pack and showed our Scouts some important skills (first aid for wounds, how to stop bleeding, how to splint an injury, and how to perform chest compressions just to name a few). We are grateful for their time and willingness to educate our kids on ways they can be helpful to others and maybe even save a life.

Tonight Pack 11 had the incredible opportunity to meet some true hometown heroes. Thank you Goldsboro Fire Department Station 1 for giving our Scouts a tour of your station and teaching them what it's like to be a firefighter. Our Scouts were able to learn all about the station and it's history, the services they provide our community, the equipment they use (even got to touch some), and of course...all about the trucks. Who knows, we may have some future firefighters in our ranks.
Thank you for your service to our community, the sacrifices you make to "help others at all times", and for your wonderful hospitality.
