Better together. 💙

Teamwork was on full display in Mrs. Johnson’s classroom!

🏗️ 5th & 6th Grade STEM students used the engineering design process to build the tallest tower possible with just 30 index cards and tape. After discussing the importance of a strong foundation, teams were given time to improve their designs—and every group built a taller, stronger tower!

🤖 7th & 8th Grade Robotics & Programming worked in pairs, with one student as the “programmer” guiding a blindfolded “robot” through a course. They quickly learned that a robot is only as good as its programmer—instructions have to be specific!

Hands-on learning that builds teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. 🦅💙

There’s a difference between learning about science and learning to do science. 🧪⚖️

Mr. Gentry’s HS science students spent time in the lab learning how to properly utilize scales—building the accuracy, attention to detail, and hands-on skills that turn concepts from the classroom into practical experience.

At Wayne Christian, we love seeing students actively engaged in their learning—asking questions, working together, and developing the God-given skills they’ll use far beyond the classroom. 💙🦅

exemplified! Our students aren’t just learning how to build—they’re learning how to use their God-given skills to make the world around them better. 🪚🔨

Today, our Carpentry students put their skills to work, using their own tools and what they’ve learned in the classroom to repair tables that needed a little attention.

This is what learning looks like at Wayne Christian: developing practical skills, taking initiative, serving others, and learning to lead by seeing a need and stepping in to meet it.

There’s no better way to begin a new school year than together in worship. 🤍

Today, our students gathered for our first Chapel of the year—lifting their voices, opening God’s Word, and being reminded that the joy of the Lord is our strength!

As we celebrate 40 years of Wayne Christian School, we’re looking ahead with expectation for what God will do in the lives of our students this year. Seeds have been planted. Roots have grown deep. And this year, we’re praying to see those seeds bearing fruit—in our classrooms, on our fields, in our hallways, and most importantly, in the hearts and lives of our students. 🌱

May we be a school marked by the fruit of lives fully surrendered to Christ—and by a JOY that can only come from Him.

Due to the threat of severe weather this evening, the Varsity Football game has been moved to Monday, August 24 at 6:00 PM.

⚽ Monday Soccer games will remain on schedule but have been relocated to the Bryan Sports Complex on Field 8:
• JV Soccer: 4:00 PM
• Varsity Soccer: 5:30 PM
We can’t wait to see you Monday!
