St. Luke’s Busy Bees

Kicking off summer camp in style! While our preschool-aged classrooms are full, our Junior Camp (rising Pre-K and Kinder) and Elementary camp (rising 1st-rising 5th) have drop in spots all summer! Summer 2026 is off to a great start!

We can’t wait to see everyone on Monday! Our younger classrooms are ready, camp rooms are ready for all of the fun, and our teachers can’t wait to meet everyone! A couple of notes to remember:

-The Brightwheel app is used by all staff each day for photos and messages. You will also check-in/check-out with your code each day.

-For children in our preschool classrooms: please utilize the Busy Bees main entrance door and parking lot.

-All Junior Campers & Elementary Campers: please utilize the main church parking lots each day.

-Please apply sunscreen before dropping off your child and please pack a lunch and reusable water bottle each day. For our younger children, please pack a spare change of clothes, and all diapers/wipes.

Bring on all the summertime fun! ☀️

As we prepare for our summer session and summer camp programs, we are switching out some of our outdoor playground equipment. We are looking to purchase gently used items:

⭐️ water tables
⭐️ plastic playhouses
⭐️ sand boxes w/ lids or covers
⭐️ soccer goals
⭐️ badminton/volleyball net

What a year for our little Sunflowers Pre-K classes! 🌻 In total, we had 16 amazing children who will be going to kindergarten in the fall. We hope they each continue to dream big and reach for the stars!

And a huge thank you to everyone for making our Spring Performance one for the books. Seeing our sanctuary busting at the seams is an image we will never forget!

Today, we are feeling so grateful and thankful for our wonderful families, teachers, directors, and children. The love that was shown this week was nothing short of amazing! From sweet hand-drawn cards to favorite snacks and treats—we certainly felt so much love! Thank you!

Our teachers pour so much love into all that they do! From feeding the caterpillars, to transferring chrysalises, to safely releasing adult butterflies—our teachers do it all! 🦋

April has been full of all things spring and nature…we can’t believe we are already into May! Nature walks, observing rocks, special time with Snoopy the bunny and Mrs. Cheri—so much fun has been packed in one month. 🐇 🍃
