Please join us on Friday, September 4, as we celebrate an important milestone for Goldendale School District and officially open Timberwolves Stadium for interscholastic competition.

6:30 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Join district leaders, School Board members, coaches, principals, students, and special guests as we officially cut the ribbon and celebrate the opening of Timberwolves Stadium.

7:00 p.m. – Varsity Football Game
Stay for kickoff and cheer on the Goldendale Timberwolves as they take the field against the River View Panthersfor the first varsity football game in our new stadium!

We have a little extra planned for opening night:
- The first 300 fans through the gate will receive a FREE hotdog with admission!
- Timberwolf gear will be available for purchase from Market Fresh.
- Wear your purple and gold, bring your Timberwolf spirit, and help us make the first night at Timberwolves Stadium one to remember!

Parking for the evening will be available in the Goldendale High School parking lot.

This is more than the opening of a new athletic facility. It is an opportunity to celebrate our students, our teams, our schools, and the community that supports them.

Thank you, Goldendale! 💜💛

It was great to see so many students, families, staff, and community members at the Klickitat County Fair. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Goldendale School District booth to say hello, learn more about our schools, and welcome Superintendent Ryan Anderson to the community.

We are grateful to be part of a community that cares deeply about its schools and students, and we look forward to many more opportunities to connect throughout the year.

Goldendale School District would like to share an important leadership update as we prepare for the 2026–27 school year.

Denise Reddinger has announced her retirement and resignation as Principal of Goldendale High School. We thank Denise for her service to our district and for the time and care she has given to the students, staff, and families of Goldendale High School. We wish her all the best in retirement and in the next chapter ahead.

As we move forward, Niki Swanson will serve as Interim Principal of Goldendale High School for the 2026–27 school year.

As part of the transition, the high school leadership team will also include Dan Smith as Interim Dean of Students/Athletic Director. Dan brings extensive experience as a principal, Dean of Students, Athletic Director, teacher, and coach.

While this transition comes just before the start of a new school year, we are excited about the team in place and the experience Niki and Dan bring to their roles. Our focus remains on supporting our staff, welcoming our students back, and setting Goldendale High School up for a positive and successful year.

The Historic Military Vehcile Convoy is heading our way next week! The convoy will be located at Goldendale High School around 5:15pm on August 11th. Families are welcome to stop by and learn about military history and ask questions!

We are excited to see the new track/field nearing completion!

While construction is in its final stages, the site remains an active construction zone and is not yet open to the public. For everyone's safety, and to help ensure the project stays on schedule, we ask everyone to not enter the fenced construction area until the facility is officially opened.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work towards the finish line. We look forward to celebrating the opening of this new facility with our students, families, and community very soon!

On behalf of the Goldendale School Board I am excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Ryan Anderson as the new Superintendent. Dr. Anderson was sworn in at the board's worksession on 7/13/2026.

We are very excited for the future of Goldendale School District under Dr. Anderson's leadership. We look forward to working together and helping the district reach its greatest heights.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Anderson and his family to our beautiful community. Over the next few months there will be several opportunities to meet the new superintendent and his family. The district will share them when they are scheduled.
