The Department of Geophysics hosted its annual MINES Geophysics Alumni reception on December 11, 2023, at the AGU Annual Meeting in San Francisco. Over 40 people attended, including current GP undergraduate and graduate students, research associates, faculty, and alumni. Discussions and conversations were enlightening and fun. It is always great to see what our graduates are doing outside of Mines and for others to see what the Department is doing today! Special thanks to Bart Hoekstra (B.S. Geophysical Engineering, '84), who helped secure support for the reception from Geometrics. We look forward to seeing you at our 2024 AGU reception in Washington DC.
