πŸ‘‹ Faculty Spotlight: David β€œCully” Culbreth
Professor of Practice, Economics and Business

We love seeing how our faculty make the classroom a space for collaboration and innovation. πŸ’¬

πŸ’ How he connects with students:

β€œI ask students questions from the material or case and write their answers on the whiteboard, which generates a collaborative environment to share ideas and build knowledge.”

πŸ‚ Favorite Memory at Mines:

β€œI love walking across campus, especially in the fall when the leaves turn and hearing the clock chiming from Guggenheim Hall.”

πŸ’‘ Something he wishes more people understood about his field:

β€œGiven my field is technology of all kinds, I wish people understood the excitement of technology evolution and the chance to work on something cutting-edge.”

We’re so grateful for faculty like Dr. Culbreth, who bring insight, real-world experience, and curiosity to the Mines community every day. πŸ’›
