Unfortunately with COVID-19, our competition has been cancelled. Classes at Mines have also moved online so we won't be able to finish fabricating our car this year. We are still writing up designs for next years team and have high hopes for them! Thank you to everyone who supported us during this project! The team had a great time working together and learning new skills as we worked to make this car a reality. Stay safe and thanks for following along with our progress!

Our body team is working hard to finish the plug and lay up fiber glass!
It's a little over a month until competition and we're making progress! We have a steering system and are working on our plug for laying the carbon fiber.
P.s. we promise we'll have a steering wheel instead of a wrench to steer the car.

Our chassis team is working hard to modify the frame and weld on added components! Here’s our current progress, but we can’t wait to see the final product.
We're in the thick of manufacturing! Today our team started making the plug for our carbon fiber body. These wooden shapes will be put together like a spine and used as a mold to shape the carbon fiber around.
Here is a short video of a small scale body being printed. We will follow this post with pictures of the finished bodies!
