This year, our challenge is to design and build a telerobotic or autonomous excavator, called a Lunabot, that could be used on the moon.
The Mines Moon Diggers are a Senior Design team formed to represent Colorado School of Mines in NASA’s Third Annual Lunabotics Mining competition being held on May 21-26, 2012, at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Setting up a practice arena
First round didn't go as planned. Team presentation in 45 minutes and then back to the Lunapit to make modifications for round 2 tomorrow.

Inspection time!
Inspection pushed back until after lunch. A little under 2 hours left.
Official inspection in about 30 minutes. Then off to the Lunarena to compete!
