Welcome back. We ran a machine shop training to teach prospective formula members how we make parts for our car. More hands make less work.

Hello everyone,
We will transition to design for MF9 and working on some remote research and development projects for a while as we do our part to help slow the spread of COVID-19. We hope everyone is staying safe, and maybe the parts that we have made can bring some excitement into your life.

FSAE Lincoln 2019 07/29/2019

The 2019 competition was one of the most exciting in our history. We completed the technical inspection in record time and continued pushing through the safety checks. The brakes test caused a drivetrain failure, but the team pulled together and was able to fabricate the required parts to get the car running again. The car performed well in the dynamic events, particularly in the autocross, but various issues out of our control lost us a few positions. After performing very well in the endurance competition (setting quicker lap times than some of the top teams), a handful of parameters caused the vehicle to run out of fuel, forcing us to retire. Although this was upsetting, the team has been investigating the cause and is looking into solutions to prevent this failure on future vehicles.

Completed tech inspection and achieved our sub-500 lb weight goal. With a dry weight of 485 lbs, MF-7 is 25 lbs lighter than the previous MF-6 racecar.
