Don't hesitate to post under the discussions section! We are part of the host Army ROTC program at University of Colorado – Boulder. Students from Colorado School of Mines, Colorado Christian University and Red Rocks Community College comprise Company B of the battalion. ROTC classes of all levels are taught at the CSM campus.

Blaster Company conducted tactical skills PT led by the cadre this week. Cadets moved as a squad and conducted knot tying, call for fire, medical evacuation, and tested their knowledge of key weapon systems. Some additional exercises were added to each station to increase the stress and build the team!

When you go to school in the mountains, you take full advantage of the opportunity to PT in the mountains!

Blaster company conducted PT at Red Rocks Amphitheater this week enjoying an awesome sunrise over the fog-covered Denver area.

Best in the West!

The rivalry continues! Air Force and Army ROTC cadets faced off in a Mines ROTC tradition, buttball. It's nothing gross, just a roll of clean toilet paper wrapped in duct tape and played similar to ultimate frisbee/football.

Army retained the title of champ and are looking forward to the next joint PT.

Blaster Company and friends enjoyed some rappelling at the Edgar Experimental Mine this week! Cadets were able to rappel INSIDE the mountain. Thanks to all who joined us, especially for showing the students your support of our program! It's not everyday you get school administration to come rappelling with the cadets.

Blaster Company Cadets supported Fresh Check Day helping raise awareness for our Veterans who may need support. Cadets discussed the resources available and common problems Veterans encounter at higher rates than the general population.

Well done team!

A huge thank you to School of Mines' Dr. Brealin Pantel, VP of Student Life, for supporting our Cadets and attending.

Cadets braved the cold and snow this morning to continue refining their tactical skills as our MSIIIs prepare for Cadet Summer Training. The Kentucky woods will look different than beautiful Colorado, but the fundamentals still apply.
